After their Great Divide EP (released in March ‘09 at this year’s SXSW with remixes from Culture Prophet, Kids at the Bar, and Trash Yourself) and a Midwest tour just last month, GLASNOST is in the studio pounding away at a new full length. “No Survivor” is the first single from the long player – a robotdisco-infused number complete with thick and lucious filters targeted towards twilight. Glasnost’s latest album (still unnamed), is due out in early 2010.
If you missed the remixes mentioned above, don’t fret because you can find them from an earlier post. I’m guessing from the remix title of this bonus track, VICIOUS didn’t meet the deadline. (The Houston four-piece held a remix contest for the EP mentioned above and although the contest is over, feel free to grab the stems from HOUSTON’S MOST HATED and give it a whirl.
